Swachhata Hi Seva 2024
Theme: Swachhata Ke Bhaagidaari – Engagement with School Children : Officials of CPRI and Members of the MSR Nagar RWA visited local school ‘Blooming Glory High School, Mathikere’ and had interactions with the High School Children and Teaching Staff – explaining with regards to the topics of SHS 2024, meaning and importance of Swachhata; Recycling of waste to value added products; and effect of Swachhata on Bio-Diversity. Around 100 students participated in the interactions on 19.09.2024
Theme: Sampoorna Swachhata - ‘Swachh Lakshit Ekayi’ or Cleanliness Target Unit CTU - 1 : Initiation of Modification & Beautification of CTU sites by cleaning and upgrading the main boundary wall of the CTU site; Installation of colour coded waste receptacles (dust bins) at the CTU site on 20/09/2024 .
Theme: Swachhata Ke Bhaagidaari – (a) Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam – Tree plantation drive was organized at various places at Ward 35 including MS Ramaiah Nagar, and areas within the Institute. Participants representing Office bearers from MSRNRWA, GE Engineering, ULB-BBMP and officials of CPRI including Safai Mitras planted the saplings. 45 saplings were planted during the program on 23.09.2024.
